Student Newsletters

Many classrooms have a regular newsletter that goes home with each student. Check with your child to see if they received a class newsletter.

The Bridge

The Bridge is a school-wide parent memo that goes home with students every Friday. It contains news of general interest to all families as well as the weekly school lunch menu. You can find digital copies of it here.


Our staff manages an official DCS Facebook page. Please be advised that this is not to be used as the primary way to receive information. For the most accurate, up-to-date information, please defer to messages received from One Call Now or check the DCS website.

How We Contact You

DCS uses the One Call Now system to deliver important messages to parents and guardians. You are automatically signed up for this when your child is registered. If not are not receiving emails and/or voicemails in the first couple weeks of school, please alert us so we can get you properly subscribed to the system.

  • In the event of a non-emergency notification, the message will go to the primary contact number on your child’s record.
  • In the event of an emergency notification, the message will go to both the primary and the secondary contacts on your child’s record.
  • To check what contact numbers are receiving the messages, to change the information, or to add new information, please contact the main office at 603-463-7422.
