As our mission states below, our goal is to inspire each student to think, learn, achieve, create, and care. We are fortunate to have an exceptional team of teachers at DCS who devote countless hours to preparing the innovative lessons and creative activities that keep our students thinking critically and gaining an appreciation for so many aspects of the world.

As principal, I can say with utmost confidence that the staff leaders and I work tirelessly to make the Deerfield Community School a safe and caring community for each child. Our curriculum, which you can read about in more depth in the Academics section of the site, emphasizes flexible instruction that aims to engage and challenge while fostering creativity.

We are proud of our school, which was the recipient of a New Hampshire Excellence in Education Award (“NH Edies”) for K-8 in 2017, and the success we see students enjoying year after year. Thank you for being a part of our special learning community!
