Dear SAU #53 staff and families,

Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close all of the schools in SAU #53 beginning on Monday, March 16, 2020. Monday will be a professional development day for staff and they will receive further direction from their principals over the weekend.

Please understand that this situation is fluid and the staff and administration will be working together to address and answer questions as we have more information.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we all work together to make decisions that we feel are in the best interest of our students, staff, and our communities.

We will plan for schools to reopen on Monday, March 30th. We are receiving updated information on a regular basis and will reach out to you if circumstances change. Please be sure to refer to the SAU 53 website often for updates.
